Looking back at the end of last year I was so thrilled that I was able to get some of my own music out into the world for people to listen to. I never thought I would be a nominee in WA’s most prestigious music competition! I have been nominated in the blues category for the 2016/2017 WAM Song of the year competition for ‘Yes I Do’! Check this incredible playlist out that has some amazing Perth talent and my very good friends Lilt and Macshane. It really is an exciting time to be alive and thank you to everyone who has checked out the music and shown me some love!!!

Out With the Old, In With the New.

2014 has come and gone and what a year! From the beginning, 2014 was a steam train of inspiration and excitement. From Perth Fringe to gigs up north, touring throughout Europe and then onto Singapore. Returning to Perth only to fly out a week later for a show run in Melbourne. It was definitely an amazing journey and I was lucky enough to be surrounded by some very talented musicians that inspired me to no end. With 2015 brings a full calender with some very exciting times ahead including Fringe, Adelaide Fringe, South Australia, Europe and Hong Kong.

Currently I am working on some very exciting things for our Fringe show – The Swing Revue featuring The Darling Buds of May. We have been rehearsing up a new group called The Concept of West that features four part harmonies of some killer tunes. The Viva Las Vegas show with Adam Hall & The Velvet Playboys is sure to be a hit with classic Rat Pack songs and a little bit of Elvis thrown in.

In the midst of all of this I have been working and recording my own tunes when ever I have a free minute and am very much excited to be able to show the world what I have been doing very soon! Thanks again for all your support and don’t forget to keep up to date with my shows with the shows tab up the top of the page. I look forward to seeing you at one of the shows in this new year!

Melbourne Glow Festival 2014

After a successful several weeks in Germany and Singapore playing some killer shows with Adam Hall and the Velvet Playboys I fly home on Wednesday the 29th to jump straight back into our normal run of gigs. In exciting news we are taking our sold out show Beyonce – The Rhythm Spectacular to Melbourne in the following weeks for the GLOW Winter Arts Festival 2014. If you happen to be in Melbourne from the 14th to the 20th you can get your tickets here.

If you missed it we created a music video for our most recent album for the Beyonce show. I filmed and edited on tour in the Pilbara. It was so much fun and I hope you enjoy it!

I am so excited to be playing and creating music right now, having some really inspiring musicians around me on tour has been amazing. I have been listening to a lot of Wynton Marsalis and Oscar Peterson. Have a listen to the clips and get them in your ear holes!

Europe 2014

After a month of enjoying myself eating Texas style BBQ and learning to snowboard its straight back into it here in Perth. What have I been doing you may ask? I have been lucky enough to be touring with Adam Hall doing shows with Musica Viva around WA. We up north next week to do a whole series of shows for schools in remote districts which will be after we finish doing all the Metro shows in Perth. I have played shows with Jessie G’s new 60’s project Apocalypse Lounge as well as the regular Laneway and Mustang gig’s while back in Perth. It’s an amazing feeling to come home and feel like you are visiting your own city to then head of to go and tour again.

Speaking of touring – Adam Hall and the Velvet Playboys are heading to Europe again! This time we are taking the full band and will be doing a whole bunch of shows around Germany. Check the gig guide for further information and dates but it will be a bucket load of fun and if your going to be in the area let me know and hit me up on my contact page.

Thanks again everyone for your continued support and love, this music doesn’t happen without it. Hopefully see you at a show soon!
